WWOOF hosts provide food and lodging to travellers and students in exchange for some help on the farm. There are many WWOOF organisations around the world. They all have the same purpose : put wwoofers into contact with hosts. Actually, when you join WWOOF organisations, they provide you a list of hosts with a description of the farm : type of work expected, accomodation(room, tent, caravan...), how many hours you are expected to work, how much time you can stay, when... Then, you have to contact hosts... And when you have arranged the conditions with them...you can start your trip. This is a good way to learn more about organic farming, but also alternatives and ecologics ways of living. And it's a good way to travell for those who don't have a lot of money.
